Frown Lines:

Frown lines are the product of overactive muscles and/or skin laxity. Treatment options depend on the cause and severity of the furrows and should be individually tailored to the patient's condition. In some patients, Botox therapy is sufficient to soften the scowling appearance of the overactive brow muscle. Also, younger patients are increasingly seeking this minimally invasive therapy to rejuvenate their look or prevent aging. Deeper wrinkles may require a soft tissue filler, such as gore-tex, in order to achieve the best cosmetic outcome. Other patients who have significant brow droop may be better served by brow-lift surgery. Dr. Rodgers has employed a combination of methods when suitable to correct the complex nature of frown lines.
