Rhytidectomy (Facelift)
While you can't stop the aging process you can "turn back the hands of time." Facelift surgery can restore a more youthful appearance as it addresses aging in the lower face. Dr. Rodgers will often combine neck and facelift surgery to obtain the best possible result. Facelift surgery has become the third most desired cosmetic procedure.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid)
Eyelid surgery can be performed to address excessive skin, or puffiness of the upper or lower eyelids. It helps in relieving patients of the "tired look." The procedure can be performed in conjunction with other procedures or as a stand-alone procedure under local anesthesia with sedation. Dr. Rodgers will help to determine what wil provide the patient with the best possible results.

Rhinoplasty (Nasal)
Some people are unhappy with the noses they were born with, and some with the way aging has changed the appearance of their nose. For others, an injury may have distorted or changed the appearance of their nose, and the primary goal of surgery is to improve breathing. Dr. Rodgers can help to determine the extent of surgery needed to address all of the patient's concerns. The computerized imager helps the patient and Dr. Rodgers determine what will be both the best aesthetically and what is realistically achievable.

Facial Scar Treatment
When the skin is in the process of recovering from an injury, whether the result of an accident, surgery, a burn, or acne, scarring will occur wherever multiple layers of the skin have been affected. Once a scar forms, it is permanent but may be made less visible or relocated surgically. Scar revision is a process and usually not just one isolated procedure. Dr. Rodgers has written articles on the management of facial scars and will discuss the many treatment options.

Brow Lift
A "brow lift" or forehead lift is used to correct a drooping brow line (eyebrow area) that often makes a person appear angry, sad, or tired. Incisions can be placed at the hairline, behind the hairline, or in some cases, above the brow or in the mid-forehead. Endoscopic procedures are very common in the properly selected patients. Dr. Rodgers can help you select the best technique suited to your particular situation.

Otoplasty (Ear Surgery)
Surgery for protuberant ears is performed on children and adults alike. Surgery can be performed at any age after the ears have reached full size, usually around five to six years of age. It is commonly performed under general anesthesia in young children, but teenagers and adults may only require local anesthesia with IV sedation. Dr. Rodgers will help you to determine the type of anesthesia and the particular procedure which will provide you with the most benefit.

Hair Replacement
The popularity of hair replacement surgery has increased significantly during the past decade because of the surgical advances. Hair loss affects both men and women. Dr. rodgers will spend time during the consultation discussing options for treatment. He will explain how the surgery is performed and what you can expect from the treatment plan.

Mentoplasty (Chin)
A well defined chin helps give balance to the face and creates a major part of one's profile. Surgeons, who specialize in rhinoplasty like Dr. Rodgers, are often the first to suggest that changes in chin size or shape may enhance a profile including the nose and neck. The computerized imager in Dr. Rodgers' office helps him and the patient understand the changes of the profile with changes in the chin.

Skin Resurfacing
The time people spend outdoors involved in summer and winter recreational activities takes its toll on their skin. Premature wrinkling is more common now than ever before. Both men and women seek facial plastic surgery to reverse the effects of sun damaged skin. Treatments may include lasers, chemical peels, or other modalities of treatment. Dr. Rodgers has experience with many techniques and will help determine the best treatment to meet your goals and limit the risk of complications.

Wrinkle Treatment
The gradual development of facial wrinkles, whether fine surface lines or deeper creases and folds, is the classic early sign of accumulated skin damage and inevitable aging. Premature again and wrinkling of the skin may be accelerated by excessive exposure to the sun and other elements. Many options are available and Dr. Rodgers will discuss the risks and benefits of these options in your consultation.

Laser Surgery
Lasers are utilized to treat various conditions. They can help with facial vessels, age spots, wrinkles, birth marks, hair growth, and skin lesions to mention a few. The use of lasers in medicine is complex, and Dr. Rodgers is trained in the use of various lasers and can help you to decide if a laser is appropriate for you.

Lip Enhancement
Lip appearance is a very personal preference. Fortunately there are a myriad of minimally-invasive injectable and surgical methods for aesthetically reshaping, resizing, or increasing the definition of the lips. As with all procedures offered in the office, Dr. Rodgers will explain the pros and cons of each procedure and help determine what will be best for you.

Chemical Peels
The treatment of facial skin using chemical peels has been used for many years. In the 1990's, many physicians discontinued the art of chemical peels in favor of laser resurfacing. Dr. Rodgers was fortunate to train with someone who performed laser procedures and chemical peels. Chemical peels treat different depths of the skin resulting in various results. Dr. Rodgers has extensive experience in chemical peels and will explain what can and cannot be expected from the procedure. Skin type and color are important factores that should be discussed prior to any chemical peel being performed.

Botox
Botox is the abbreviation for botulinum toxin.  It is produced from bacteria in a purified form.  The use of botox has continued to grow as well as has its safety record.  Botox works by inhibiting the communication between muscles and nerves preventing the movement of the underlying musculature and thus preventing furrowing or wrinkling.  There are many applications of botox, but it also has limitations.  Dr. Rodgers personally administers the botox after discussing the treatment plan with the patient.

All new Botox patients, whether they are new or established patients, receive $50 off their first injection.  In addition, any time an established Botox patient refers someone for Botox, the established patient will also receive $50 off their next Botox treatment.

Fat Grafting
Besides wrinkling and gravity, volume loss to the face has become increasingly recognized as an important component to the aging process, which can be restored with either office-based fillers or facial fat grafting. Fat grafting consists of taking fat from one location on the patient and transferring it to the face or other are of enhancement to restore volume loss due to aging.

Injectables
Injectable fillers are substances which may be injected into facial areas in order to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles, creases, and sunken facial areas. Not all fillers are the same. They consist of different substances incluing hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyl apatite, collagen, ply lactic acid, and poly methyl methacrylate, to name a few. Dr. Rodgers will answer your questions and help to determine which filler is best suited for you. Dr. Rodgers personally performs all injectable procedures in his office.

Facial Spider Veins
Small or large facial spider veins occur as the result of the aging process and/or sun exposure. Treatment includes a pulsed dye laser procedure that is performed in the office. The facial skin will be slightly braised or blotchy for 7-10 days but can be covered with a light application of makeup. The treatment is very effective; however, the occasional patient with moderate to severe involvement may need more than one treatment. Pulsed dye laser therapy is also very effective for the treatment of acne rosacea and it's associated blush and facial vascularity.

Mid Facelift
The upper and mid-facial areas show aging primarily by the downward descent of the outer eyebrow, the temple, the cheek, and the smile lines. Dr. Rodgers addresses the forehead and brow regions using the endoscopic assisted, or minimally invasive, technique. He addresses the mid-facial area in conjunction with the upper face through the same incisions. A mid-face/brow lift is performed as an outpatient procedure in our surgical facility.

Cheek Augmentation
For the patient with a weak cheekbone structure, their appearance may be enhanced with cheek augmentation. After a facail analysis cheek augmentation may be recommended depending on the patient's goals and expectations. Dr. Rodgers uses only FDA approved implants.

Acne Scarring
Dr. Rodgers utilizes several modalities to treat acne scaring. The treatment selected is based on the severity and type of scarring present which can be determined in a consultation.

Port Wine Stains/Hemangiomas
The two most common vascular birthmarks include port wine stains and hemangiomas. Both of these vascular birthmarks can occur in infancy and while they are very different in their natural history, both can be very successfully treated. Dr. Rodgers has been involved with the National Birthmark Foundation and is a recognized specialist for treatment of these conditions.

Brown Spots (Solar Lentigo, Senile Lentigo, Sun Spot, Liver Spot)
Solar lentigines are the most common benign sun-induced lesion that occurs in sun-exposed areas. These lesions may be treated with lasers, IPL, cryotherapy, or chemical peels. The spots need to be evaluated and possibly biopsied to rule out other serious conditions prior to treatment. Dr. Rodgers assesses the spots and determines the best course of action for the patient.

Tumescent Body Liposuction
Tumescent liposuction totally by local anesthesia is about safety, finesse, gentleness, and optimal cosmetic results.  Dr. Rodgers utilizes the tumescent technique combined with microcannulas to achieve the above goals.  Patients take Tylenol for post-procedural discomfort and return to normal activity quickly.

Nasal Obstruction/Sinus Disease
Nasal obstruction can be the result of a deviated nasal septum, enlarged turbinates, collapse of the nasal sidewall, sinus disease, or a combination of each of these conditions.  Dr. Rodgers is able to determine the cause and offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment.  Most of these treatments are covered by insurance.

Sinus problems can be a function of airflow or mucus flow or a combination of both.  This can be worsened by environmental allergies or other nasal irritants.  Dr. Rodgers can assess the factors contributing to the patient’s problem and make recommendations for treatment.  Dr. Rodgers performs minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery.  The minimally invasive technique reestablishes the normal drainage pathways of the sinuses.  Dr. Rodgers does NOT pack the nose post-operatively making the experience much better than in the past when patient’s noses were packed which required removal in the office.
